Missed the first hour. Again, shocking lack of real highlights (Dan) on the OnDemand 'highlights'.

Surprised to see even Kiwis harp on about the Great Storm of 1987. Earlier in the show, THAT clip of Michael Fish was shown to mark its 27th anniversary.
Before the forecast, Dan mentioned that he used to work with Michael at the BBC.

Still got a decent picnic day.

Couldn't write quickly enough to catch a Dan-ism about a 'big chap' on the forecast.

There was a discussion about Sam's tweet, blaming Dan for the bad weather on his holiday. There's some strong language in Dan's reply, you may wish to avert your eyes.
