You take a look at the weather map and it looks a bit messy, all the different lines, probably like a plate of spaghetti.
Decent dry weather, so it's not like you're standing at the bus stop going [looks up - see pic] 'urrrgh, gosh!'
The high just jumps the queue and says, 'ha-haa, me first.' So this low sits there and he's just waiting, trying to come in and he grabs a bit more moisture [gestures doing so] and says, 'h-hurr, here you go, take more.'

Weird shark week trailer at the start has unusual date grammar; "Sunday December one."
Then Dan;

Pacific

Summer temperatures heating up
"It's a bit like a body builder stretching out his arms saying 'ha ha, I'm here' - and that was the high pressure. It sat across the country, gave us the fine sunshine, and was very, very pleasant."
The run of sunshine was set to come to an end today, with a low coming through and the start of what Corbett said would be "more of a raincoat week".
