Wellington, fine-looking day, light winds, once again you'll be making the old picnic basket quite useful.
This bloke, little weather system just been skipping his way by the far south, he doesn't have much in him. Notice, instead of him coming, babaa! Like that [sweeps hands up South Island], he's just slipping by, doing a bit of a Scooby Doo that way.
We've had that mist and fog that's been lurking on the coast again, it sort of creeps in. It's like pulling the sheet back and forth on the bed [gestures doing so] in the morning. Comes in in the morning, eases back.
It slowly weakens, like having a hoover and you just stop the moisture from getting in there.
There it is, sort of dancing about like a bit of a blue sausage.
