With the heat of the day almost like turning on the gas on the stove, vvvv [gestures ignition].

Well, it's one of those days where you're certainly going to use the umbrella, it's probably going to sit in the front hallway to dry off during the evening hours.
And was he describing the air as 'juicy'? Juicy?!

In the studio.
All the unstable air, the blobs of white across the British Isles, just bubbling up the showers, like you turn the gas on the stove and, vmmm, there it goes [gestures ignition].
The further west you are ... might even be a day for the deckchairs in the garden [deckchair gesture].
These showers, they're still there but they lose their heating of the day so they go 'fff' sort of fizzle out a bit, and then Friday, boom, it's gone. How about a drier day? There it is.
With the warmer air coming in, you might be grabbing the picnic baskets perhaps.

A fair bit of unstable air sitting across the British Isles, almost like turning on the gas stove and the areas of blue, the showers, bmm, up they went [same 'ignition' gesture as before].

Ha! I finally make the effort to search up Dan on the internet and I find this! :) He must be the only person who has ever made me want to watch the weather forecast.

I just found this blog the other day and it has been a great help in letting me know exactly when Dan will be on the telly! :)
Most of my family & friends think I'm a bit strange (one of my friends actually asked 'how can you have a favourite weatherman?!’) – obviously they don’t understand. He is fab! :D

Well, it looks to me like (somehow) they've not seen Dan; once introduced to his genius I'm sure they'll understand immediately :-)
