And this thing, almost like you pull it apart [stretching gesture], a blue piece of plasticine, fizzling out.

That ridge of high pressure, it's almost like you put some glue on the back of it [gestures doing so], you stick it on the weather map [gestures doing so] and just watch it for a couple of days [waiting gesture].
Remember our ridge of high pressure stuck to the weather map? And notice as the weather front works south he just sits there saying, 'no, I'm not gonna move'.
How about the rest of the week? Remember our high pressure? It's still stuck to the weather map [see pic - Dan's exuberant enthusiasm captured at last], so it's going to be mostly dry and a mild week as well; you won't be needing that parka that's stuffed in the back of the cupboard, leave it there for the time being.
UPDATE OCTOBER 2013:
There's video of this one below.
Points of View
Later on in the day, this appeared on the Points of View message board.
I was breathless after watching him - 'notice this, NOTICE that!!' [facepalm emoticon]
Waving hands, waving arms and, for the first time I'm ever heard it, a weather front has been 'sexed'.
'Notice this little weatherfront - he's coming in from the west'
I'm out of breath and puffing, must have a lie down. I was enjoying my day off and feel exhausted after this weatherman's predictions!
Can't remember about what to expect of the weather either - it was all performance!
Thanks to bismuthcadmium for the video.
