update
bloody awful: TypePad's new 'Compose Editor' interface. I shall say no more or I'll end up ranting.
OK (at the moment): walking to work.
Had a week 'off' walking last week to allow the blisters time to recover. My calves have often been excruciatingly painful when going to work in the mornings, but the walk home has never given me any trouble. When last Monday's walk home was painful, I took it as a sign to stop. This week I've started walking in my trainers - and so far, so good (well, bar shin splints from now being able to walk too quickly).
Am going to try and remember to bring my camera home with me tomorrow; the walk home is full of treasures bathed in evening sunlight.
good: our Sky signal.
After just a tiny amount of pruning, we now have TV again. However, I have grown rather fond of the BBC iPlayer in the meantime and am watching loads of stuff online that I wouldn't usually bother recording. Kids programmes, mostly.

Everyone is changing the flippin interfaces in a feeble attempt to make things better. GAH! is all I can say.
Wordpress has moved everything around and the panel is now awful. I wish everyone would leave everything alone. I hate having to go look for things that were once right there.

I have yet to get the Typepad update. There are a few features I'm looking forward too. I guess I'll wait and see...

Don't look forward to it too much - it's really slow and has made my paragraph breaks enormous.

Can't comment on typepad.Wordpress changed their interface a short while ago but I think i was in a minority who liked it. Love the iPlayer. Have even tried the ITV streaming service. Went through a worrying phase a few years ago of religiously watching the Hoobs every morning(but I've got treatment for that now).

I went through something similar with Balamory a few years ago. These days it's Charlie and Lola.

I broke down and ranted. There seem to be a lot of us.

This blog is very sadly neglected, but I've actually had quite a bit to say for myself lately that I've avoided blogging about because TypePad is so monumentally shit at the moment.
Interesting that you say this has been beta tested - and that you hated it then! TypePad are even more incompetent than I had imagined.
