I'm sitting on my fold-up wooden chair, keyboard on my lap, mouse on the stool beside me. I don't have a proper computer desk, our house is too tiny for it. Instead my monitor sits on a wooden shelving unit, surrounded by vast amounts of 'stuff', the tower unit sits on the shelf below.
The light from our slightly bizarre lampshade casts strange 3D-like coloured shadows on everything.
The intermingling smells of a neighbour's barbecue and our own freshly cut lawn waft in through the open window, as do the sounds of the birds chirping in the trees and the hum of distant traffic. The television is on downstairs - BBC News 24 as usual.
I'm wearing a little pale blue strappy top, my grey linen trousers and nothing on my feet. The temperature is just right; the thermometer reads 20° outside, 27° inside.
I can't taste anything, but my mouth is slightly dry. I've only had one litre of water so far today - must try harder! I'm not hungry, although it has been about four hours since I last ate.
The sore throat that started on Friday is slightly better, my right wrist still suffering from spending too long on the computer this summer, and my right foot still aches depsite having rested it. I'll have to go back to the doctor about that one.
I'm feeling relatively relaxed after spending the day sitting in the garden doing school work for tomorrow. I have quite a bit more left to do, but it's all on the computer and I don't mind that.
The sun is setting. The end of a pleasant day.
I love it when the sun shines.

Very nice, relaxing reading. Where I'm from it would be called 'arty farty' heheh...but it's interesting?!?

Is this comment spam? If it is, it's boring. Not half as exciting as the McMuffins big-breasted-porno links (which they have very meanly deleted now - lucky I bookmarked the pages).

I deleted that spam comment just to make you look like a total nutter.
It worked, I think.
