we saw him!!! we loved him!!

We love his ace side-parting. He's mesmerising. There's a short biog for him here.

He's been back on BBC News24 again lately and has had his hair cut a bit shorter now - it's kind of spiky at the moment. Bring back the side parting!

He should get a permanent prime-time BBC forecasting job.
We all need to know when a big 'blob' of cloud is coming our way, whether we ought to cancel our plans to have a picnic with friends, or take advantage of the good weather to mow the lawn.

What an inane weather forecaster.
"splishes splashes of rain"
"dribs drabs of drizzle"
"bits and pieces" of fog
"maybe you're going for a walk in the park, warm enough for an ice cream there"
"time for that barbecue"
"you'll be going off to work in the rain, don't forget to pack that umbrella in the car"

Ugh he makes me sick. He assumes everyone has an educationally subnormal IQ, assumes everyone in the country has the same dreary suburban life of commuting in the morning in their Vauxhall Cavalier returning to wife and 2 kids in the evening, goes down the park with the dog, has a barbecue in the back garden. Christ on a bike. Waht a vision of hell he paints our lives to be.

Does EVERYONE in the country do these things that Corbett world wishes on us - i think not. Stop trying to empathise with what we might or might be doing , you know nothing about our lives and you are not our friend!

JUST TALK WEATHER AND GIVE US CREDIT FOR SOME INTELLIGENCE DUDE!

Bet the BBC remove this as well the usual censorship.

Dan Corbett, what a genius. Finally someone who can make the weather interesting with his jolly quips, pleasant smile, and avoidance of techno speak.

Unlike another contributor to this I don't believe he has an educational subnormal IQ. Quite the oposite, it takes a level of intelligence to captivate thousands, to make a dreary subject interesting and to smile during the process.

Just please don't let him go on a Celebrity programme.
